Hold on tight! Our long-awaited and months of hard work for this year’s Frugal Summit is about to go down (in the best way possible)! We’re giving you a little tease as we share snippets from our upcoming 2022 Spending Symposium on June 27. If you haven’t signed up yet, maybe this is your sign to get on board with us.

It’s not an ‘I can’t’, it’s a ‘How can I?’

  • Giddy anticipation. That feeling when you are so looking forward to something that all your adulthood goes out the window and you just can’t hardly contain yourself. That’s how we’re feeling about the Spending Symposium which starts MONDAY (June 27)!! This FREE 4-day virtual event with 20 speakers talking all about spending better is beginning on Monday and there’s still time to register at frugallivingsummit.com. Do it. Join us in our giddy anticipation. Forget about emotional regulation, responsibilities, or logical thinking; roll down that car window and just start yelling I CAN’T WAIT!!

Segment 1: Allison Baggerly (Day 1)

What is emotional spending and what can trigger it? Emotions can get ahead of us and it can cause rash decisions such as overspending.

What Jen + Jill have to say: It wasn’t that she wasn’t being responsible. It was that she wanted a reward for all the hard work and responsibilities she WAS doing. Super relatable.

Segment 2: Jade Warshaw (Day 2)

Debt can be overwhelming, insurmountable, and stressful, especially for Jade Warshaw whose debt reached an astounding $460K.

What Jen + Jill have to say: The debt payoff story is so relatable and a budget is organization. Talks about helpful mindset shift related to budgeting.

Segment 3: Jessi Fearon (Day 3)

Our brain is powerful enough to control us during our most vulnerable moments. Jessi talks about decision fatigue and how that can gravely affect our spending decisions.

What Jen + Jill have to say: When we can automate, it goes better for us in all aspects of life. Jen loves the ‘I can’t versus’ vs ‘how can I’ conversation.

Would you rather earn lots of money doing a job you hate or not earn much doing a job you love?

Jill is a social worker so the answer is obvious!

Thanks so much for listening. In celebration of our summit June 27-30th we want to share some of the comments you guys made about our 2021 event like this one.

✰✰✰✰✰
Hey all! Just wanted to share my biggest takeaway from the summit so far. Pretty much it all comes down to your mindset of what frugal means and there’s a clear difference between cheap & frugal. Living a frugal life doesn’t have to be boring in order to achieve your dreams and I’m so thankful to have joined the summit to learn this! Also- best resource from All Access pass is the debt snowball calculator!! Game changer for anyone especially those who want to retire early or have a solid debt free date.

Thanks so much Bri! Thanks for listening and if you want your free ticket to this year’s summit June 27-30th head to frugallivingsummit.com and don’t forget to check out the Spending Mastery Bundle while you’re there, it’s jam packed with so much awesomeness!
